The world of electronics holds sonic secrets only audible through the magic of induction pickups like the LOM Elektrosluch or ElektroUśi. Using these "electromagnetic microphones" you can capture otherworldly whooshes, chirps, noise, and "ambience" that covers and exceeds the entire audible spectrum and boasts immense sound design potential.
To get you started playing with these EMF recordings I put together this free library captured at 192 kHz using things like a MacBook Pro, iPhone, Apple Watch, and some other gizmos that produced gnarly alien soundscapes spanning from 20 Hz to just around 80 kHz. All of these recordings can be pitched down up to two octaves and will reveal more overtones the lower you go.
This library comes with comprehensive metadata including SoundMiner, Soundly, and BWF.
